Ryan, in his “Director’s Log” voice, said they didn’t give Chip any details about the case- but later tells Chip “I think we told you she was assaulted.”

A teenage girl, touted as a “medium,” claims to see dead people. One in particular is Emily Garcia.

Ryan mentions “papers” as a source where Savannah could have found information about Emily. But how could he have known about “papers” unless he saw the Website?

Savannah saw website about Emily BEFORE “Vegas” started filming, but this was never revealed. Read the e-mail from Stephanie (Savannah’s mom) to Theresa Dontrich (Emily’s aunt).

Emily’s last name was blacked-out but there is enough information visible to figure it out. Learn how. Another, simpler(?) way is to search the Internet using info from the episode.

Ryan and members of the Paranormal Research Society go to Las Vegas, Nevada, to investigate purported “medium” abilities of a teenage girl who was assaulted. Savannah claims to see spirits, and one in particular is of a girl about Savannah’s age.

The fact that Savannah and her mother saw a website that contains detailed information about Emily Jeannette Garcia, who was only 15 years old when she was abducted, sexually assaulted, and strangled to death- was withheld from viewers in this episode. This was, and is still, a tragedy. And now, here we have, Savannah, who was assaulted and claims she sees Emily.

DECEPTIVE AND UNDERHANDED STRATEGIES, METHODS, AND TACTICS
It is my belief that it was extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, and perhaps harmful, to have Savannah as a “client” in a Paranormal State episode. I am also stating it is my opinion that deceptive and underhanded strategies, methods, and tactics were used to produce the “Vegas” episode. I strongly believe Savannah should not have been subject to what I see as immoral and unethical behavior on the part of the Paranormal Research Society, and to those people involved in putting the “Vegas” episode together, who I shall call “the producers.”

I’d like to talk with any PRS member, as well as anyone involved with the “Vegas” episode, especially Savannah and Stephanie. I do not fault Savannah for the claims she made in the episode; I see her behavior as her way of dealing with being raped (according to the e-mail from her mom) posted on the website in which Theresa Yeary-Dontrich (Emily’s aunt) and Sheila Smith-Ramirez (Emily’s mother) seek help to find who murdered Emily Jeanette Garcia and her unborn son, Emilio.

“School House” door in “Vegas”

The “neighborhood library” scenes were not shot in Las Vegas. They are from Penn State libraries, Leominster Public Library, MA, and Heinz History Center, PIttsburgh, PA.

The case briefing talk took place at night, not 10:33 AM. Scenes from three locations were edited together to make it look like the briefing happened at one location.
