Ryan, in his “Director’s Log” voice, said they didn’t give Chip any details about the case- but later tells Chip “I think we told you she was assaulted.”

Chip Coffey is brought in to assess Savannah’s purported abilities. But the interesting thing to note is that Ryan said they didn’t tell Chip any details about the case or Savannah’s “alleged gift.” Making a statement like “we didn’t tell you anything,” which is used over and over in many episodes, is supposed to give the impression that anything a psychic / medium provides was acquired by paranormal means. For instance, if the Paranormal Research Society didn’t tell, how else could they have known anything about a case, except by ghostly guidance.

BUT...

A little later in the episode Ryan tells Chip: “I think we told you she was assaulted.”

Revealing mistake?

Ryan often makes a statement like “We didn’t tell you anything about the case, did we?” when a psychic or medium partakes in a case. Seems like Ryan made a revealing mistake when he told Chip that Savannah was assaulted, after he said he didn’t tell him anything.

After Ryan tells Chip that Savannah was assaulted, Chip is seen on the bed with Savannah. And, he even uses the word “sweetheart” when talking with her. In my opinion, this is not appropriate.

During what’s supposed to be the second day of the investigation, Chip is brought in.

“Dead Time” took place the night before, and it’s now the third day of the investigation. That’s when Ryan tells Chip the following:

There are two things I’d like to cover with this statement of Ryan’s.

FIRST
Ryan states Savannah doesn’t want attention. I guess he couldn’t see into the future that Savannah seems to enjoy self-promotion. Take a look and see if this is the same Savannah at:

And, it’s not like Savannah could have accessed the Internet and saw the Website about Emily, because on YouTube, it says Savannah likes to “sit on the computer all day”

SECOND
Ryan just admitted telling Chip that Savannah was assaulted. This seems contradictory to Ryan’s earlier statement that they didn’t tell Chip anything.

And this leads into another item.
