Six family members were wrongly portrayed as being murdered here, and the moving door was totally faked.

This door scene is ripped-off footage from the “Dark Man” episode, and was made to appear as if some paranormal / supernatural force opened and closed it.

SYNOPSIS
The PRS travels to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, to investigate the case where a divorced mom Jodi, and her son, Nate, supposedly experience some haunted force that put a purple “X” in the air, and touched her. Footsteps were heard. There’s real tension because Jodi broke of contact with both Nate’s biological, and adoptive father.
Rather-young looking counselor, Jamie, talks with Nate and Jodi and found that spooky experiences started after they moved in to their home.
Jodi hands Ryan some articles she said the previous owner left in her house. Ryan acted surprised. Had he read the papers then and there, he would have known the murders took place not in the house he’s in right now, but in Cando, North Dakota in 1893. The murdered family members were originally from the area in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (“near” Jodi’s house) ended up in Cando, ND, then after family members were murdered, their bodies were transported to the Risser Mennonite Cemetery, again, “near” Jodi’s house.
Also, Eilfie and Emily are seen viewing a Web site with an article about the Kreider murders. That article contains information that the murders took place in North Dakota, but Eilfie or Emily didn’t say anything about that.
Ryan talks with a Kreider family descendent, Robert Greiner. Robert described why Albert Bomberger murdered various Kreider family members.
Ryan talks on phone with former owner, who thinks the house was haunted. Former owner said his wife heard children, so Ryan makes an association with the murdered Kreider children. Ryan goes on to say he just discovered the murdered family members were buried in a cemetery across the street, and off go Jodi, Nate, and some PRS to the cemetery at 11:18 PM at night, for a look. If Ryan had read the papers Jodi handed him about 4:18 PM earlier that day, he would have learned where they were buried then, so they could have gone to the cemetery during the day. And, if Jodi was a forensic accountant like Ryan said, why couldn’t she have read the article herself, before contacting the PRS, to know how to find the cemetery. Suspicious. Oh well, at least this way we get to see Nate and Jodi get emotional in a cemetery.
Ryan and the PRS are shown being back at the hotel at 3:18 AM. The hotel scene is borrowed footage from the “Mothman” episode. The hotel is actually the Lowe Hotel, located in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. At the hotel Ryan wakes up with talk about a demon. Later he tells the PRS girls he was contacted by the Roman Catholic Dioceses to work on a demonic case years ago. Spooky music is hear in the background as Ryan tells them never to mention the demon’s name because you’ll get into a confrontation with said demon. So he says.
In the morning, we see two bridge scenes, the same bridge which appears in many other episodes.
Chip Coffey arrives, and talks about residual girl ghost energy, and tells Ryan that the demon amuses him.
Ryan holds 3:00 AM Dead Time. He wants to communicate with a female child spirit, and asks it to go to a safe place. Then we clearly hear footsteps. Nice and loudly, too. And, we see a door moving. And hear it creak. Nice and loudly, too. This was a fabricated scene lifted from “Dark Man” episode, because the door is actually in the Isenberg’s home. So, how could Sergey say that was the bathroom door that opened? How is it that the supposed little girl ghost footsteps are heard so loud and clear, along with the creaky door; when there’s been many times it’s so hard to clearly hear what Eilfie says?
Ryan shows Eilfie the name of the demon Chip wrote down- because you can’t speak the demon’s name. Ryan sends the girls home in the appearance that he’s safeguarding them from the demon. Ryan calls Lorraine Warren, “demonologist,” and Tony Spera, her nephew, because he can’t think clearly. They miraculously appear in such short notice. They must drive quickly without getting pulled over from law enforcement.
Ryan performs a House Blessing by reading some words, pins a piece of paper with some writing above one door, and writes in chalk(?) on the woodwork above another door. Ryan hugs Jodi goodbye, and does a “Director’s Log” saying he believes the “murders associated with this house, coupled with Jodi’s strife, made this an ideal environment for paranormal activity.” Again, the murdered Kreider family members were killed in North Dakota. They used to live in the Lancaster, PA area, but never lived in Jodi’s house, before they moved.
