Paranormal State Illustrated

Taking a close look at what you see and hear on a “Real Life. Drama.” TV series.
Bruce Maccabee’s last name is misspelled. I think Paranormal State should know how to spell the names of people who appear on the show.

Captioning is as it appeared.
Bruce Maccabee’s last name is misspelled.
Someone misspelled “Optical Analyst / Expert” Bruce Maccabee’s last name in the on-screen caption. If you think that was a bad mistake, be aware that Paranormal State misspelled “Shelley,” the client’s first name, in the “Sixth Sense” episode.

INCORRECT SPELLING OF Bruce Maccabee’s LAST NAME
The Paranormal Research Society (PRS) had an “Optical Analyst / Expert” on Paranormal State and someone misspelled the on-screen caption for his last name. Why didn’t Ryan notice the misspelling before the show titles were added, or, after they were added but before the episode aired? Ryan is credited as a Consulting Producer, and even if the misspelling slipped by Ryan, someone else should have noticed the error. In my opinion, this is an example of poor quality control and fact checking.
This is not the first occurrence where someone’s name was misspelled on a Paranormal State episode. In the “Sixth Sense” episode, Shelley, the client’s first name was shown twice- and one of the ways was wrong. Take a look by clicking here.
