THE NAME: FAKED DOOR SCENARIO
Taking a close look at what you see and hear on a “Real Life. Drama.” TV series.
I sent three screen captures like the ones above, to a professional woodworker, to get his input if it’s the same door appearing in two Paranormal State episodes. His e-mail reply appears below, and was used with his permission. I have removed certain pieces of identifying information.
Understand that this is one person’s professional analysis of the screenshots.
The same door, tan-colored two-drawer file cabinet, and similar graffiti appear in two different episodes. The importance is critical, because in my opinion, the scenes involving the door in “The Name” episode were recorded on location at the Isenberg’s residence in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, when shooting “Dark Man.” Since the door appeared to move on it’s own in “The Name” as if by some paranormal force, I believe this was contrived with planning and foresight.

The door opens in one scene, and a little later, seems to close- all by itself. The idea conveyed was that the little girl ghost left the room Ryan was in, to go somewhere safe. How did the door get in this episode if it’s in the Isenberg’s home in the “Dark Man” episode?

“Back” of the door is visible, as is the file cabinet.

Here you can see the construction of the “inside” of the door as Helen Isenberg shows Ryan around her house in “Dark Man.”
CAN YOU SEE WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE:
•same door
•same two-drawer, tan-colored file cabinet
•similar graffiti
•same concrete block wall construction
It is my opinion that the door which seems to move on it’s own in “The Name” was borrowed from footage shot for the “Dark Man” episode. The door is rather unique, and since you can see what appears to be the same tan-colored file cabinet, and similar graffiti, the chance that two houses in two episode would have the identical items would be practically non-existent.
And since there is conversation between Ryan and Sergey about a bathroom door opening, this could indicate this “haunted door” scenario was scripted and acted out with planning, and that Ryan, Sergey, and perhaps other people, are complicit in it’s making. Therefore, I feel it’s appropriate to question EVERYTHING portrayed on the show as a paranormal phenomenon, could have been faked in order to create the illusion of something paranormal.

“DARK MAN”
“THE NAME”
It is my opinion that the (haunted) door moving by itself was faked by using footage shot for the “Dark Man” episode, and had sound effects added to make it creak.
It is my opinion that footsteps of the supposed little girl spirit, and the door creaking open and closed; were added in post-production. Listen to the following two audio segments and see what you think.
The following quotes are from the Paranormal State episode, “The Name”. I’ve included them to show that it is my opinion that dialog had been knowingly included into “The Name” episode to give the impression a little girl spirit was heard walking, and opening and closing a door. But again, the door in “The Name” was footage shot at the Isenberg home and should have should be rightly associated with “Dark Man.” The scene in “The Name” was faked to give the illusion of paranormal activity.

Appears at approximately 12 minutes 29 seconds.
Click on the play button to listen at how remarkably clear and loud the ‘ghostly’ footsteps are. It is my opinion this is a foley sound effect and did not happen as a result of a little girl ‘ghost’ walking.

Click on the play button to listen at how remarkably clear and loud you can hear the door creak. It is my opinion this is a foley sound effect added in post-production to further the illusion of paranormal activity. This is not Jodi’s basement, it’s from the Isenberg’s home in “Dark Man.”
